Transformative coaching can bring about long lasting change using the best tools available within the coaching sphere. Transformative coaching focuses on the whole person – inside and out – and is developmental in nature. It is reflective and allows the client to think about their relationship to, and perspectives of the world.
Transformational coaching takes account of the psychological elements that a client brings to the table; it adopts a humanistic approach; it is holistic, including all of the client’s experiences; and it is integrative, drawing from many different coaching approaches in order to make the experience personal and bespoke for the client.
Goal setting and achievement is key, however transformative coaching seeks to explore the client’s world view, beliefs and values and how this affects the way they live their life.
